by SHFamily | Thu, December 07, 2017

Whether you've been here for six weeks or six years, understanding your health and wellness options in Shanghai is a priority and, fortunately, Shanghai has ample resources if you just know where to look. Now in its third edition, the Health and Wellness Guide offers the necessary resources for families and individuals to make informed decisions while living in this fast-paced city.

The new guide

We've updated the maps that list medical services located in Puxi and Pudong and added more Wellness options to help you take care of your mind, body, and spirit. There are sections for each of the following:

Within each, there are articles relevant to that topic and alphabetized listings at the end.

Designed to give you the most up-to-date information on everything from over-the-counter medications to vaccinations, the guide also includes maternity listing comparisons and expert advice on air, food, and water quality, as well as some tips for deciphering TCM and other alternative therapies.

The Emergency Resources section is here to provide you with any phone numbers you might need, in addition to a guide that will prepare you for emergencies, big or small. Just knowing you have a plan in place can make all the difference when life decides to throw you a curve ball.

We know it’s not easy navigating the medical world in Shanghai, but we hope that with this guide, you’ll be able to rest assured you have all the information you need for your family’s well being in one convenient location.
