Anticipated to be one of the biggest Shanghai education events of the year, Shanghai Family's 9th International School Expo featuring the city's most esteemed international schools, bilingual schools, and kindergartens and those connected with the educational sphere, officially lands this Sunday the 13th October!

This event encompasses much of what we are passionate about at Shanghai Family. It is a celebration of family, fun, and education. Having successfully held eight school expos previously, involving over 10,000 Shanghai family attendees, we can't wait to kick off this weekend and share the day with you all!

INTERNATIONAL ARTS FESTIVAL

Alongside our 9th International School Expo we are delighted to announce that we will also have our Shanghai Family International Arts Festival. Through this we hope to offer all students and children of Shanghai the opportunity to express themselves in front of their community whilst experiencing a multitude of cultures and arts. By facilitating a celebration that puts emphasis on different styles of art we believe this not only encourages empathy and understanding of different cultures bringing us all closer together but also helps children of all ages to realise their future artistic dreams.

Event Awards: 

•First Prize: 1 winner, 3000 RMB per winner

•Second Prize: 2 winners, 2000 RMB per winner 

•Third Prize: 3 winners, 1000 RMB per winner 

•Recognition Award: 5 winners, RMB 300 per winner

Expect to see performances in the style of Beijing Opera as well as a magic show, fencing, vocal performances, guitar and accordion solos, traditional Indian dances and many more!

Fencing is a sport developed from fencing duel in ancient times. It combines elegant movements and flexible tactics, and requires a high concentration of the athletes' spirit and good coordination of the body, and reflects the athletes' good movements and agile response.

For those with active little ones who are easily distracted don't worry we've got you covered, on the day we will have interactive games areas featuring an abundance of intellectually stimulating, fun activities for all to enjoy.
