Wellington College International Shanghai Kids Talk

We spoke to pupils who are both 'old and new' at Wellington College International Shanghai on what being a Wellingtonian means to them

The atmosphere here is about encouraging each other and being supportive, feeling part of a community.

The feeling here is encouarging and motivating, I have been able to take intiative with my own passions.

Here, we recognise culture and belief as well as academic achievement. I feel a togetherness amongst every pupil and we share many traits.

My teachers treat me with respect and treat us all equally. It’s not only about grades and marks but about who we are.

At Wellington, sports has played a significant part in my life. It has made me push myself to be a better person and bring people together.

It feels like it’s a second family to me, so I feel safe and secure.
